Where Welsh Republicans go from here I am not sure, that is a matter for they to decide there are two Welsh Republican Platforms in Wales at present, certainly more serious than the BC/Cymru 1400 Pretense. However, what's on offer is open for further clarification of patriotic purpose and direction, myself I see the above representing a Welsh Republicanism followng more in tradition of WRM I & II. Whilst the below to me appears more an Anglo - Welsh Left/Plaid/Crachach/Pacifist/Devolution Platform aligning itself more with a British Republican Tradition. Of course at one stage Iolo Morgannw was aligned to similar before returning to Wales, no doubt Welsh Republic.org is today a Welsh/British Republicanism enterprise Welsh Labour would have no problem supporting, maybe neither will I?

Of course the way forward for such Welsh Socialist Radical/Republicanism might be in direction of a restored Merthyr 1831 Commune as an alternative 'National Commune' to the not so 'Proper Parliament' down in Bae Bradwyr Caerdydd. However, many Welsh Nationalists may believe that nothing short of the restoration of Senedd Glyndwr and re-establishment of Cenedl Glyndwr as the ultimate goal for Patriots to aim for. To this end I had been a believer in the practical Senedd Glyndwr ideas advanced by Eurig ap Gwylim of Cofwn and later by Dafydd Glyn who advanced such ideas greatly with his Senedd Glyndwr Initiative in not too distant days. Embassy Glyndwr have also been furthering similar ideas in a blog: SENEDD GLYNDWR . Unfortunatly Eurig has long passed away and also unfortunatly the Dafydd Glyn Initiative seems to have come to nothing. I can not even find any ref to it on the web, a great pity as he had worked out something of practical purpose and even though is Initiative was on basis of involving local authorities as foundation of his Senedd Glyndwr. However, as you will see below other patriots were more taken with idea of such being more of a 'Rebels Parliament'. You will of course make up your own mind in such political matters of radical nationalist concern.

Let me here remind that Glyndwr's Parliament of course had aristocratic pretentions and purpose no doubt. However, I remind that his Senedd Glyndwr was by far more democractic than the Anglo - Norman 1264 Montfort Parliament of Lords and Barons, as the one established in Machynlleth on 21 June 1404 which was based on calling of the community representatives of Y Cymydau Cymru together in a National Assembly. Thus I suggest that the actual Senedd Glyndwr, the Parliament that is Assembly of the Cwmwd Representatives and the Coronation was an outside affair, who knows maybe around an Oak Tree? As for the Senedd Glyndwr that exists today, that was possibly used more as an 'House of Lords' and place to conduct national affairs business and entertain guests and so fourth. I thus further suggest that it would be entirely appropriate for those of populist Patriotic views, if not Republican at least Radical Nationalists may with other patriots participate in a present day Assembly of Representatives with purpose of establishing a restored Senedd Glyndwr. Maybe as a 'Rebel Parliament' as described in the Senedd Glyndwr forum above. I propose patriots may launch such initiative by an informal gathering at Y Plas, inside if weather bad but preferably outside and as there is no Oak Tree in grounds then gather around the Owain Glyndwr memorial in a Soap Box Nation - area of Discussion and Debate. I shall be hard line about this as there is not much time left to really make a go of it, by that I mean no less than patriots committing to National Liberation struggle.
